About
Us

Valley Fruits & Veggies is a family-owned farm and seasonal agritourism destination in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley, welcoming families, friends, and neighbors for fresh produce, farm fun, and unforgettable days together.

From spring strawberries and sweet treats to pumpkins, corn maze and Glow Maze adventures, and fall festival favorites, our farm brings the community closer to local agriculture in a fun, friendly, hands-on way.

Conveniently located near Route 22, Route 33, and Route 78, Valley Fruits & Veggies is an easy trip from Bethlehem, Easton, Northampton, Allentown, and surrounding Lehigh Valley communities.

Rooted in Family, Farming, & the Lehigh Valley

Valley Fruits & Veggies is owned and operated by Chris and Deb Colitas, a husband-and-wife team with deep roots in the Lehigh Valley and a shared love for building businesses that serve the community.

Married in 2001, Chris and Deb have spent years working side by side, creating experiences that bring people together, support local jobs, and celebrate the simple joys of farm life. If you have picked strawberries, gotten lost in the corn maze, enjoyed a milkshake, or visited during fall festival season, you have already been part of the Valley Fruits & Veggies story.

Deb "Mrs C." Colitas

Meet Farmer Chris

Chris Colitas grew up locally in Bethlehem, where his family operated pick-your-own strawberry fields for many years in Northampton. His background in agriculture started early, and by the time he was a teenager, he had already discovered his love for tractors, equipment, and working the land.

A Penn State graduate with a degree in landscape contracting, Chris has spent decades developing his skills in plant growth, cultivation, and farm operations. From the strawberry fields to the corn maze, pumpkins, and farm layout, so much of what guests enjoy at Valley Fruits & Veggies starts with Farmer Chris and his work behind the scenes.

Deb "Mrs C." Colitas

Meet Deb Colitas

At Valley Fruits & Veggies, Deb (or Mrs. C to students during farm field trips) can be found doing a little bit of everything. She works alongside Chris, helps manage the farm crew, connects with guests, and brings the farm’s personality to life online and in the community.

Many guests know Deb from Facebook Live, farm updates, and her familiar “Strawberry Lady” energy. When she is not at the farm, Deb also helps other businesses grow through networking, marketing, and social media. Her passion for people, connection, and community is a big part of what makes Valley Fruits & Veggies feel so welcoming.

The Next Generation of the Family Farm

For longtime guests, Calli Colitas Maldonado and Nico Colitas have been part of the Valley Fruits & Veggies story from the beginning. Many families have watched them grow up around the farm, learning each season right alongside Chris and Deb.

Calli, a Messiah University graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree, is married to Tomas Maldonado, a U.S. Marine. Nico continues his own path toward graduation and marriage to Amelia Heitzenrater, who is completing her nursing degree at Moravian University. Together, these new chapters mark continued growth for the Colitas family.

Through every season, Valley Fruits & Veggies remains more than a place to visit. It is a true family farm, built with love, hard work, and generations of memories, and one that invites every guest to feel like part of the family.

Farm Fun Through Every Season

Valley Fruits & Veggies is here to be part of your family’s seasonal traditions.

In the spring, guests visit for fresh strawberries, seasonal treats, and time outside on the farm. In the fall, the farm comes alive with pumpkins, corn maze adventures, hayrides, and family-friendly festival fun.

Through every season, our goal is simple: to give families, friends, and neighbors a place to slow down, enjoy the farm, and make memories together.
