Farm Safety & Visitor Policies
Valley Fruits & Veggies is a working farm and seasonal agritourism destination. While we do our best to provide a fun and safe experience, farm visits naturally involve changing outdoor conditions and certain inherent risks.
By visiting the farm or participating in farm activities, guests acknowledge that conditions may include uneven ground, mud, rocks, roots, crops, insects, animals, farm equipment, moving vehicles, weather, crowds, and other conditions commonly found on a working farm.
Children & Supervision
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times, including in Valleyville, the Jump Pad, Barrel Train, farm animal areas, fields, mazes, hayrides, and other attractions.
Parents and guardians are responsible for determining whether an activity is appropriate for their child.
Spring Strawberries
Pick Your Own strawberry fields are active agricultural areas. Guests should expect uneven ground, plants, irrigation equipment, insects, mud, sun exposure, and changing field conditions.
Please remain in designated picking areas, supervise children, and follow staff instructions.
Crop availability depends on weather and growing conditions and may change without notice.
Summer Farm Market
The Summer Farm Market operates within an active farm environment.
Guests visiting the market, Valleyville, farm animals, ice cream areas, or other seasonal activities should remain aware of farm vehicles, natural terrain, changing conditions, and other guests.
Farm Play Areas
Valleyville, the Jump Pad, Barrel Train, and similar attractions involve physical activity and may include running, climbing, jumping, riding, and other movement.
Guests must follow all posted rules and staff instructions.
Unsafe behavior, rough play, or misuse of attractions may result in removal from the activity.
Farm Animals
Animals can behave unpredictably.
Please follow posted rules, supervise children closely, and do not chase, tease, climb on, or improperly handle farm animals.
Wash or sanitize hands after animal contact and before eating or drinking.
Fall Festival & Corn Maze
Fall activities may include the Corn Maze, pumpkin fields, hayrides, Valleyville, Jump Pad, Barrel Train, farm animals, and other seasonal attractions.
Guests should expect natural farm terrain, including uneven ground, crops, mud, dust, insects, limited visibility, and changing weather.
Please stay on designated paths, wear appropriate footwear, supervise children, and follow all posted instructions.
Glow Maze & Evening Events
Nighttime activities may involve reduced visibility, darker pathways, changing lighting, and uneven terrain.
Please walk carefully, remain on designated paths, and keep children with your group.
Hayrides & Farm Rides
Guests must follow staff instructions when boarding and exiting, remain seated while the vehicle is moving, and supervise children at all times.
Rides may be delayed or canceled because of weather, ground conditions, equipment conditions, or safety concerns.
Weather & Farm Conditions
Farm activities may change, pause, close early, or become unavailable because of weather, field conditions, crop conditions, maintenance, safety concerns, or other circumstances outside our control.
Availability of crops, attractions, animals, food, rides, and seasonal activities is not guaranteed.
Food, Drinks & Special Events
Food, beverages, and special events may be provided by Valley Fruits & Veggies or by participating vendors and event partners.
Guests with allergies or dietary restrictions should ask about ingredients before purchasing or consuming food or beverages.
Additional event-specific rules, age restrictions, ticket requirements, or participation requirements may apply.
Smoking, Vaping & Alcohol
Smoking and vaping are not permitted on Valley Fruits & Veggies property.
Guests may not bring outside alcoholic beverages onto the farm. Alcohol may only be consumed when it is offered or authorized as part of an approved Valley Fruits & Veggies event and must remain within any designated areas.
Guests consuming alcohol must meet all applicable age requirements and are expected to drink responsibly. Valley Fruits & Veggies and participating event partners reserve the right to refuse service or ask a guest to leave when necessary for safety or appropriate conduct.
Restricted Areas
Guests must remain in areas open to the public.
Please do not enter closed fields, equipment areas, employee-only spaces, agricultural work areas, or any area marked as restricted.
Personal Responsibility
Guests are responsible for using reasonable care while visiting the farm and deciding whether they or the children in their care can safely participate in an activity.
Please follow all posted signs and reasonable instructions from Valley Fruits & Veggies staff.
Valley Fruits & Veggies may close an attraction or ask a guest to stop participating when necessary for safety, farm operations, or the enjoyment of other visitors.
